? Seborrhea: One of the most common causes of peeling skin behind the ear which can also included swelling and discomfort is "Seborrhei Dermatitis aka Seborrhea" Sometimes the flaking, peeling skin is found inside the ear, on the scalp, in the eyebrows and on the sides of the nose. This is a yeast infection of the skin. It is easily treated. However, other causes do exist. See your doctor.
