Paraparesis: Is the generic term for lower extremity weakness, which could be due to many causes, including issues in spinal cord. The top of the brain, a problem with nerve cells, or muscle, or structural such as lumbar stenosis. If you have progressive leg weakness, see a neurologist asap, as diagnosis and treatment is critical. (especially, if only a few days, as you might have "guillain-barre").
