Corneal erosion: This sounds most likely to be 'recurrent erosion syndrome' - a corneal condition in which the eye usually has had an abrasion in the past. And as a delayed occurrence the skin on the surface of the cornea that was abraded, starts to loosen causing pain and intense tearing. See your ophthalmologist for evaluation and best treatment.
