this is my 3rd day on the zpack for sinus infection. i feel almost normal,  but will get a low grade fever by mid day.  why & when i will i feel 100%?

Diagnosis?: First Z-pack if not an appropriate antibiotic for sinusitis.
Second, without a CAT scan of the sinuses, the diagnosis is not specific.  Third, all sinus like infections start in the nose and are therefore viral, at least for the first 5 days.  Depending on the etiology, you should recover in 10-14 days.  If not better, see an 
ENT doctor.

im on zpack for sinus infection but i have a ton of mucus that is stuck and wont come up or down can i use a antihistamine or mucinex (guaifenesin)?

Unlikely.: Probably not, because most common pathogen or bacteria causing urinary infection , is e. Coli, which is not covered by zithromax.

Zpac &amp; dentistry: We don't often use Zpak for dental use.  In our office, Amoxicillin 500 mg or Clindamycin 150 mg for penicillin allergy/sensitive patients is preferred.  The source of your pus must be assessed and treated.  It could be a dead tooth or one who has comprimised gum and bone around it.  You need to be certain that you are not taking too much antibiotic simultaneously.  See a dentist!

Yes it should: both are upper respiratory tract infections and should respond  if no improvement in 72 hrs contact your doctor

on zpack & prednisone for sinus infection i've had since jan. snot now red-tinged like liquid from fresh tomato. was yellow. why color change? bad?

Specific diagnosis: 6 months of an alleged sinus problem is way to long to suffer from this.  You need a more specific diagnosis.  You need a CAT scan of the paranasal sinuses to determine if, indeed, you have a sinus problem.  That is first.  Second, Z-pack is not an appropriate antibiotic for upper respiratory bacterial infection.  Prednisone is appropriate for a short period of time.

Treatment Failure: When a prescribed treatment fails to solve the problem then the prescribing physician needs to hear that the treatment failed.

Maybe: The germ killing profile of the Zpac is not the same as a med I would use for a UTI.You need some testing to confirm a UTI and not a copy cat process. A different antibiotic would likely be needed if it is confirmed.

im on zpack for an ear and sinus infection i took 4 of the 6 pills sofar and today woke up feeling faint with nausea and muscle weakness.is this ok.  ?

Could be: a side effect of the azithromycin, the nausea. The muscle weakness and faint feeling is not related, however, if you do feel really sick, call or visit your doctor for a recheck
