Side effects.: All psychiatric rx's have side effects. If you check with side effects in the pdr, you will not want to take another drug. Mostly, your individual should be concerned about the drug/drug interactions. It is almost unamerican not to be polymedicvated. The prescribing md should talk with the patient about what the drugs will do and more importantly what the drugs will not do.

my doc put me on zoloft (sertraline) 100mg & i'm on trazodone 100mg, depakote, riperidal and serqaul are those meds dangerous for me to take together?

No: If your dr prescribed it this way. Risk/benefit ratio probably justify this (not so uncommon) combination. Ask your dr for the rationale behind it; if it works for you and you have no collateral effects, it is ok. Best wishes.

looking for a safe combo, antipsychotic with 100 mg zoloft (sertraline) daily - slightly sensitive liver cannot take lithium or depakote (dizziness, low bp)?

Abilify (aripiprazole) both: Augments the antidepressant  effect of zoloft  and treats the psychosis. I would start there. Dose will need to be slightly lowered because zoloft can raise Abilify (aripiprazole) levels. I also find that it has very good results in ptsd. My Next Choice would be seroquel. Discuss dosing with your psychiatrist and make sure you are definitely not bipolar.

i'm on 100mg trazodone, 100mg zoloft (sertraline) 1000mg depakote 2mg risperal & seroquel xr 150mg at night. i feel high 30minutes later should this be happening?

No: I would talk to your psychiatrist, i suspect your blood pressure is either getting low on all of that trazodone and quetiapine or you are becoming slightly delirious on the two antipsychotics.  If you have one of those battery operated blood pressure cuffs you may want to check your blood pressure about 30 minutes to an hour after you take those medicines if you are even able to stay awake.

Call your doctor: need to adjust those medications, depakote interacts with zoloft, (sertraline) both can cause nervousness and anxiety, however your doctor had a reason to put you on both. Hydroxyzine interacts with depakote too, it can be withheld for now, but call your doctor for adjusting the others

These medications are not used to treat Porn addiction.

•How long is this Addiction?
•Effect on marriage, relationships, work and finances?
•Alcohol, drugs or gambling Addictions?
•How deep is your desire to decrease it and reasons for it?
•Need to have Intensive Therapy to overcome Addiction and stress.

Caution. : Sam-e is a naturally occuring precursor to serotonin, and taking it can lead to increased levels of serotonin.  It is proving to be an effective treatment for depression, though the doses when taken alone are probably in the range of 1600 mg daily. When taken with a med like zoloft, (sertraline) one runs the risk of developing serotonin syndrome (flushing, diarrhea, palpitations, agitation). I advise caution.

Zoloft (sertraline): Zoloft (sertraline) is one of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, hence produces elevation in serotonin levels which produce reduction in symptoms of depression & anxiety.

Accepted Answer

no: I don't know if you mean once, by mistake, or regularly.  If you doubled your dose by mistake once, it's unlikely to be harmful, although you might suffer serotonin side-effects (stomach upset, jitteriness, restlessness).  Taking 300 on a regular basis usually does more harm than good.  It's not okay if your doctor didn't prescribe it that way.
