Zofran for nausea: Zofran is generally safe in pregnancy, and can be taken every four hours with extreme cases of pregnancy induced nausea/vomiting. Your OB physician should determine the dose schedule, and make sure that no nutritional deficiencies are occurring which can affect fetal development. Prolonged hyperemesis may require hospitalization.

Rare - serorotin Syn: Using  ondansetron  (Zofer/ Zofran) together with rizatriptan  (Maxalt) can increase risk for Serotonin Syndrome. This does not mean it will occur- This is rare.

Vomiting?: If he is not vomiting, the zofer is not indicated, unless there are further details not described. Monitor his temperature, provide clear liquids, avoid dairy products except for yogurt. A pediatric probiotic may be helpful, and watch for any blood or mucus. Encourage fluids to avoid dehydration. Many GI illness may have a duration of 10 to 14 days.

Yes: At that dose you can repeat every 6-8 hrs or up to 3X/day as needed. If the kid goes more than 8 hrs between wets he should be re-evaluated as this suggests early dehydration.
