Stye: A stye, (or chalazion in medical terms) is the most likely cause for a non-tender bump on the eyelid.  Try treating it with warm compresses 3-4 times a day for two weeks and see if  it disappears.

See answer: A skin lesion in that area can indeed be painful. Use good hygiene do not touch it and see how it is in a few days. If it does not improve see your doctor. A few days of Tylenol (acetaminophen) will give you some pain relief

It could simply : Be a pimple but see a doctor if it becomes painful or if you develop a fever

Sounds : Sounds like it could be folliculitis.  Wash this area carefully and you might benefit from a mild steroid like FML (fluorometholone) ointment when it pops up.  Discuss this with your ophthalmologist.

Sounds too active: You may have not sterilize the extractor resulting in an infection.  The face is too close to the lymph drainage to the brain.  Use warm applications till you can see a doc.

i have an infection that is near my eye.  can i go on minocycline or do i need a stronger antibiotic? i had a zit on my upper cheek, near my eye that i picked at and it got infected.  it has been swollen off and on for 2 days and now has redness around it

Any : Any time there is an infection or injury that involves the eye or is near the eye, you should be seen by a doctor.  Eye infections can be very serious.  Depending on what is causing the infection, Minocycline may or may not work.  When we see an infection like that we typically use an antibiotic that is more broad-spectrum (stronger) than minocycline.  Instead of trying to treat yourself, you should be seen as soon as possible before it worsens.

skin colored bump/ zit shaped on my inner eye socket bone near nose. it's sore when i blink sometimes or when i touch it. could it be a deep zit?

This could be an: acne pimple or could be a cyst, which may be infected. I would recommend applying warm compresses a few times/day; ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain if needed. If it is not improving or if worsening please see your doctor.
