No antidote for it: I have never seen or heard of any serious trouble with zithromax od--from people have accidentally taken 3-4 times what is recommended. Single dose of 2gm (4x more than usual dose of longer course of 5 days) is often given these days, and those who have trouble usually end up vomitting it out. So, od will likely result in vomitting/diarrhea etc.. If you have trouble, consult doc. Good luck.

Dysurea: get urine analysis and checked for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Strep test?: Was a strep test done?  Sometimes rashes and fevers are caused by viruses, and antibiotics don't work. Sometimes something that looks like scarlet fever can be caused by a  similar germ called staph.  If that's the case, a different antibiotic might be necessary.  Whether the test was done or not, the persistence of symptoms despite antibiotics suggests the need for further investigation.

Avoid unless your: doctor checked an EKG.  Some of these medications in particular can cause prolongation of the QT interval (basically slowing heart conduction) and should be taken with caution under the guidance of your primary care physician.

Time to rethink meds: Any infant with a "viral" sore throat does not need an antibiotic and Zithromax can cause gastrointestinal irritation and poor feeding in anyone at any age. I see no reason for any of the other listed meds either with this diagnosis. The problem that will get baby in trouble is dehydration, which will happen if fluid needs aren't met. This may be from the meds.
