Very common : Thin, mucousy discharge is very common in early pregnancy. If you have severe cramping certainly contact your doctor as soon as possible.  Otherwise you can bring this up at your next visit.

Discharge: No.  It's not normal.  You may have an infection which can be sexually related or not sexually related.  I would get it evaluated because a foul smelling discharge is something that must be treated before it gets worse affecting other parts of female organs (especially if it is sexually transmitted in nature).

Ob: Ob/gyn for exam preg test swab probable bacterial vag treatment 2g flagyl po then await swab results for candida, chlamydia, gonorrhea, ureaplasma, etc. Get HIV tested too. Good luck.

While clear or white: watery discharge can be considered normal, when it is yellow I recommend it be investigated and infection excluded. The color yellow suggests purulence or pus cells from the cervix or vagina. Even if there is no odor or itching, infection could still be present. If you have had unprotected sex with a partner who you have not known for a while, the possible causes increase and include sexually transmitted diseases.  You need to get seen to find out what is causing this, and to get the proper treatment.  If you have fever or abdominal pain, go to ER.
