Need an exam : If there is a large bump in that area you need to be seen for an exam to determine the cause and treatment. That would not be caused by a recent yeast infection.

Needs testing: There are several causes of bad smelling vaginal discharge and testing is needed to determine the cause and treatment. The most likely is bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is an overgrowth of normal vaginal bacteria. It causes a watery discharge with a fishy odor. It is not sexually transmitted and your partner does not require treatment. It is treated with antibiotics.

Yeast: Vaginal itching without discharge can indicate infections like yeast or stis like herpes. It can indicate an allergic reaction to household products like certain soaps and laundry detergents. There are also some skin conditions liked lichen sclerosis which can cause vaginal itching.  Start with an over the counter yeast  cream. If not improving schedule a visit.

Infection: The only definitive way to diagnose UTI vs vaginitis is to be evaluated by a women's health provider.  History, physical exam and possible culture based on the history and physical exam. More information is needed in regards to your symptoms.

See answer: Consider possibility of vulvar dermatitis that can be caused by anything that comes into contact with and irritates the sensitive skin around the entrance to the vagina such as the detergents used to wash underwear, panty liners, fabric softeners, perfumed toilet papers and pads, soaps, perfumes, bubble baths, shower gels, vaginal deodorants, lubricants and spermicides, and latex in some condoms.

Odor usually implies bacterial source. STD only possible if sexually active of course,  contraception is important as well.
