my doctor told me i have a yeast infection under my belly fat on my csection scare. but the cream she gave me doesnt work. my problem area is now red, sore and smells like something died. what can it be?

: Odors are gasses produced by bacteria feeding in the area. One important factor in treating such areas is lifting the skin away and getting it dry several times a day with a hair dryer. Moisture from sweat feeds the problem. Keeping the area clean (soap/water) and dry will help. Another exam may be necessary to plan a way to resolve the mess.

i have some white moist, thick stuff under my foreskin it gets removed easily by cloth its grainy and moist, n my belly button also develops some fungi in it so i wonder do i have yeast infection?

: This sounds normal. The material under your foreskin is called smegma; the same can occur in any closed space without access to air, like a deep navel. Uncircumcised adults males need to retract the foreskin and wash with soap and water once a day, to keep smegma to a minimum and reduce the chance of infection. Presence of fungi is not abnormal unless there is inflammation (redness, irritation).

Recommend labwork: I would recommend labwork based on your symptoms.  While your description is consistent with a yeast infection, the dizziness could be  due to an abnormality in your blood sugar (high blood sugar can predispose you to yeast infections) or low blood pressure or infection.  Stomach upset could be a separate issue altogether, but a physical exam would help to determine cause.

Use a q-tip w soap: Clean several ted a day with a q- tipamd soap. These infections temporarily discolor the skin sometimes. It took me six weeks to get over one after trying anti fungal powder with no success, and then using an oral fungicidal drug for two weeks. I tried powder and they did not help. A zinc skin protection ointment finally helped. Good luck to you. It will clear, but it definitely takes time patienc.

?diagnosis: Make sure you know it's a yeast infection !  if your doctor has cultured it then she/he will treat it with the appropriate medication, local anti-fungal cream.

Yes: Any moist, warm place can get a topical yeast infection, such as the navel, between the legs, between the toes, or between folds of skin.  It typically has a red base, with what may look like white discharge, and may smell like bread or beer.

Belly button.: Clean your belly button with a q-tip and hydrogen peroxide.  Then dry it well with another q-tip.  Keeping it dry in between cleanings is key.  If symptoms continue, ask your doctor to prescribe a cream.
I am not familiar with steam therapy for the belly button.

Probablly not: You were using an antibiotic cream on it which would help with many bacterial infections. When you went to the doctor they diagnosed a yeast infection which is not helped by antibiotic cream. So they recommended a different cream that would help to kill the yeast. You should be fine. If the symptoms don't get better or return, then you should see the doctor again for further  evaluation.

Not normally a: Symptom of a vaginal yeast infection. Symptoms of a yeast infection may include: burning, redness & itching of the vulva; burning with urination & vaginal intercourse & a clumpy, white, vaginal discharge with no odor. Sometimes the discharge isn’t apparent.
