i have frequent urination(hurts if i hold it in) burning sensation after urinating, slight lower abdominal pain, no bleeding. could it be a uti? i did recently use monistat for a yeast infection.

Gyn symptoms: These symptoms are not typical for a UTI, but it's possible. Depending on sexual risks, an STD might be possible, and potentially dangerous if causing abdominal pan. Or maybe it's just mild persisting discomfort from the yeast infection. Contact your doctor for personal advice and possible diagnostic testing (urinalysis, urine culture, maybe STD and yeast testing).

i have lower abdominal pain, in the groin area. previously had yeast infection with similar symptoms after d&c. no painful/burning urination or discharge. started on 30 march 2020. could the infection have reoccured + recommended treatment?

Call your doctor.: You do not say when you had the D and C!  Lower abdominal pain is usually not the only symptom of most yeast infections.  Other causes like infection, period pain, a viral infection like a "stomach bug" can all cause abdominal pain. Pain that lasts more than 24 hours or is getting worse, especially if you have any fever, needs to be checked out. See or call your doc today.

have been taking flucoazole every day for 6 days for yeast  infection but it's getting worse and bad stomach ache. have chronic cystitis and a virgin?

Reevaluate and treat: You should get reevaluated to find out whether you actually have a yeast infection or not. Something else might be causing your symptoms and might need to be treated.

Absolutely: Other infections can cause what you have. A follow up appointment with your doctor to evaluate other causes is recommended. Have them recheck your urine and abdomen.

Not normally a: Symptom of a vaginal yeast infection. Symptoms of a yeast infection may include: burning, redness & itching of the vulva; burning with urination & vaginal intercourse & a clumpy, white, vaginal discharge with no odor. Sometimes the discharge isn’t apparent.

Not likely: Vaginal yeast causes genital irritation and itching and sometimes a little thick, cheesy discharge. But not abdominal or back pain. If you're having more vaginal discharge, vaginal odor, or colored discharge, I would be worried about an STD that might have progressed to fallopian tube infection (pelvic inflammatory disease, PID). See a doctor soon -- do it immediately if pain severe or any fever.

Don't know: I don't know if it is a yeast infection or not without an examination. If you are unsure, then see a MD who can give you an accurate answer before trying a over the counter (OTC) Yeast  Rx that may or may not work.

: Vaginal fungal infection with Candida (candidiasis) rarely causes systemic symptoms such as nausea and malaise. The typical symptoms and signs are vaginal itching and burning along with vaginal redness with cheesy discharge.

Belly pain: Yeast infections typically cause discharge, itching, and sometimes irritation of the external genitalia.  Your belly pain is from some other cause. Please contact your doctor to help find out why you are having pain.
