Yeast infection: if you are self treating with yeast medication and still wondering why it is not better then please see a physician for an exam. It could be yeast infection but possibility of folliculitis or  herpes also exist.

Azole resistance?: Yeast alone still is most likely. A few percent of yeasts that cause vaginal infection are resistant to fluconazole (Diflucan®) and other azole drugs. Best to be rechecked by a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and decide whether other kinds of treatment (like caspofungin, micafungin, flucytosine, or nystatin) might be worth a try. Good luck!

Yeast/pimples: probably NOT.    vaginal yeast infections are exactly that - vaginal.    It sounds like you may have had two small infected hair follicles - folliculitis that have at least partially resolved (as this can) on their own.    I would avoid trying to "pop" them and use moist heat or simply monitor the remaining one.

i have yeast infection (i think) and a fleshy bump, skin colored, kind of like a ski tag, on the outer labia. could it be caused by the infection?

Get seen: you need to be seen, the "tag" needs to be seen and maybe biopsied.  you need to see someone for the yeast infection too.  go to a gyne (not just urgent care because of the skin tag like thing)...it can be infection or it could be nothing or something you need help with.

Creams: Over- the- counter medicines for yeast infections include: micon 7, monistat, vagistat, (tioconazole) gynazole, femcare, gyne-lotrimin; mycelex.

Yes: Candida Vaginitis presents with vaginal itch and curd like cheesy discharge .
Herpes Simplex Type 2 presents with bumps or vesicles that later burst a leave painful sores in the Vagina!

Hard to tell: With persistence of abnormality or discomfort I will recommend a GYN consult. Are the white bumps without symptoms? Do they itch, hurt, any associated discharge, are they spreading? These questions and more will need clarification in order to gain insight to the cause and appropriate therapy recommended. Yeast infection is unlikely. In network consultants are available to help. : Your doc can treat both at the same time. There are oral meds you can take to suppress the herpes and there are insertable meds that can treat the yeast, please contact your doc and discuss your options.
