See a GI doctor: You need to be examined and perhaps undergo stool examinations and endoscopy.  This sounds serious and you should not wait long before seeing somebody.  Good luck and get better.

Hard to tell: Yeast (candada) is a normal part of the bowel germs, comprising an estimated 5% of the dry weight of poo. Since we all have it, it is hard to attribute any problem to its presence.

No: This is more indicative of the kinds of food he has been eating. From time to time there have been some anecdotes about bowel function and its relationship to autism, but there is no direct correlation with diet, stools or GI symptoms in the majority of children with autism.

Myth: Everyone has yeast in their stool. It is ubiquitous in nature and comprises a variable part in the stool within hours of birth.It tends to increase in proportion after antibiotic use kills off good bacteria in the gut, and return to lower levels after the other gut germs rebalance.

: Almost certainly this isn't the cause of your diarrhea. (But why flagystatin instead of plain nystatin? You don't need the metronidazole component.)

They will first perform a visual inspection &amp; digital exam after taking your history as to circumstances, duration, quality, timing of symptoms &amp; your risk factors. They may then determine topical treatment or ask to perform further evaluation of the rectal lining. Problem may be dermatologic, infectious, inflammatory, functional, etc.

Yeast are approximately 5% of the dry weight of poop &amp; are often more when a person has taken antibiotics recently.
