A member asked:

I have yeast cell = +++ in stool, what does it mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing specific: A finding of yeast in stool is expected. The +++ can be interpreted as a positive finding. What it means to the ordering doc is something you should discuss with them. Yeast are approximately 5% of the dry weight of poop & are often more when a person has taken antibiotics recently.
