Yes: You can work as long as you ensure that you make sure that you take common precautions while working, ie - wearing glovesprotective wear, working in well ventilated areas etc.

i am a working pregnant woman doing online jobs. can it affect my baby too much if i work in computers even if i take a rest a bit if i feel tired?

No: Obviously, rest during pregnancy when you are tired is ideal, but a working pregnant woman does not always get that option.(smile). Several years ago several Washington Post employees were concerned about many miscarriages in the office allegedly caused by the computer video display terminal (VDT). Several studies have proven that notion FALSE. Computers will not hurt your fetus.

Shouldn't: The longer answer is: it depends on the physical. If you are expected to do something dangerous to your unborn baby, then it will. But i can't imagine a scenario that you would be asked to do something that dangerous.

Very important - let them know that you are pregnant up front. Always be clear so they can't say that you withheld information to get the job.

Generally, yes: Pregnancy is a normal physiologic state. If you did this before your pregnancy you should be able to continue without any problems. Of course, if  complications develop in your pregnancy such as preterm labor or elevated blood pressure then it is not advisable. Also, late in your third trimester it may be uncomfortable standing long periods. As long as you are able to stand then you may continue.

my hbp at "work" goes up to 135/96 (my job is not stressfull i'm always sitting down)... in my "house" 100/67 i am pregnant taking 2..500mg methyldopa am &  1 pm. why my hbp goes high at work?what can i do? i dont want to get preemplasia. please help

Work: You're not as relaxed at work as you are at home. You may need a third dose of methyldopa in between the AM and PM doses to prevent this rise in bp at work. I feel that the main effect of each dose wears off after about 6 hours. Discuss this with your prescribing physician to see if he/she agrees.

Can't Say: You need to ask the OB MD who is providing prenatal care and has examined you thoroughly to determine your fitness for housekeeping employment.

Yes: usually carpal tunnel requires splinting or injection to ease up.  Bad cases may require surgery they rarely improve on their own.
