See below: They very in appearance, but often, the bite will often go unnoticed.  If the tick was attached for less than 24-48 hours, the likelihood that you have contracted a disease is almost zero (i never say never).  But watch for signs like a rash at the tick bite site, headaches, fevers,  muscle aches, chills, fatigue, malaise, nausea and vomiting.  If these occur, see you doctor.

See a doctor: Lyme disease usually presents with a symptom complex which aids in the early diagnosis.  This should be treated, most beneficially before the onset of antibody formation, the testing for which may be negative early on.  The major tick to worry about is the tiny deer tick ixodes, with several species geographically distributed.  Bites alone do not mean you have lyme.

Monitor: Clean the area and place topical antibiotic at the bite site.  If you develop fever, headache, fatique, and or stomach upset the next week, then see a doctor immediately (same day) for antibiotics.  Good luck

Appearance varies: A tick bite can be invisible after the tick detaches, or leave a red spot. When lyme is in the tick, often (but not always) a red rash spreads out in a circle (can be other shapes too) and is often clearing from the center outward. Called a "bull's eye" rash because of its appearance.

Tick bite: There are several infections possible from a tick bite. Most are concerned about lyme disease. Small chance of infection if you removed the tick within 48 hours of attachment. The typical sign is the reddish spot where the tick was surrounded by a larger red ring that usually is very much larger than a nickle. See doctor if you have fever with headache and muscle and joint pains.

: By my limited knowledge, there is no association between tick bite and SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) or lupus discoid. I would say because you had blood test due to the tick bite so asymptomatic leukopenia (low white cell count) was incidentally detected.

Tick Bite: Definitely see your doctor for follow-up. CDC recommends two-step testing.  First step: EIA (enzyme immunoassay). If the EIA is negative, no further testing of the specimen. If the EIA is positive or possible, then a “Western blot” test is ordered. If ill 30 days, only the IgG blot is done. A positive diagnosis requires positive for both EIA and blot

Tick bite: African tick bite fever is apparently endemic in your area. Lyme disease has been reported in Africa. I recommend systemic antibiotics(?doxycycline) for 2 weeks in view of the rash and fatigue.Fucidin cream isn't sufficient treatment. Discuss this with your physician.
