i take drug tests once a week, and every time i test positive for low levels of cocaine, less than 200. i have never touched cocaine. explanations?

Some other things : There are some things that can cause a false positive urine drug test for certain substances. For example zoloft (sertraline) can cause a false positive Cocaine in urine. Check with your physician to see if there are any medications you are on that can do this.

cocaine: Cocaine can show up for upto 1 week and sometimes for unto 2 weeks.

Unknown: There are too many variables here. But, i can promise you that the physicians on health tap are fairly unified about illicit drug use and addiction. Redirect attention: Good job on getting clean. That is step in the right direction. Now you must focus on the health of the baby and not on whether or not someone will find out about your past. Tell your doctor what you have done and when you stopped. That way he or she can take care of you most effectively to keep your baby safe. Also you can enroll in a NA program to help you stay clean.

Possibly: there are many possible problems with the use of cocaine, i recommend you let you Ob/Gyn know at once

No guarantees: Cocaine crosses the placenta, so you have no guarantee that problems may have occurred earlier in the pregnancy.  While the baby will probably not test positive, it will still need to be checked and watched carefully by the pediatrician and neonatal unit staff.

Open and honest: Thank you for being open and honest about your substance abuse problem. The first step is to inform the doctor taking care of you. They can then monitor the baby with ultrasound to help confirm that the baby is safe. They can work with you to get you into a program to help prevent a relapse. Do not try to hide this or do it on your own. Protect the baby and yourself. Reach out for help.

Not likely: Although many drugs can cause false positive screening  tests, any positive must be confirmed by gc/ms and their are no false positives with this test.

Meconium begins to: form between 12-16 weeks' gestation. Meconium testing can reveal maternal drug use during the last 4-5 months of pregnancy. Please disclose prenatal exposure to cocaine to your OB &amp; pediatrician so they know to assess fetal/infant brain development by neuroimaging, then monitor your baby's growth &amp; development, refer him/her to Early Intervention &amp; refer you for treatment of your addiction.

i am a diabetic and recently received a toranol injection at the hospital , a week later took a drug test and tested positive for cocaine. ?

Not sure why: Toradol does not become anything like cocaine, so not sure why you tested positive for it.  Many times drug screens are notorious for false positives with many otc meds and supplements.  However confirmation testing if done would give you a real idea of what was in your body.
