Yes or no: If you have potential weak area at hernial site, or a  small hernia you did not notice ( to be pointed out by your physician ), or a weak scar from previous surgery you  may develop hernia. If you do not have those , not much chance of getting a hernia, go for abdominal work out.

No: Inguinal hernias in general get bigger with time. This is because any abdominal pressure increases force that pushes it out and there is no counteracting force to push it back in. Strong abs do not cause inguinal hernias to go back in.

: What you described does not add up. A small hernia would be in the groin, not in the testicle. It would be prudent to see a doctor to ascertain the nature of the lesion and to decide if any intervention is needed.

Yes: Femoral herneas have a 33% chance of causing anobstruction by incarcerating small bowel. Find a doc who can fix this with local standby(not going to sleeb) for baby safety but get it fixed.

Gallbladder or...: Your age makes this quite unlikely but right sided pain could be your liver or gallbladder. It could be the pancreas or kidney but those pains are generally much more severe.

I'm guessing you have a hiatal hernia that you are taking antacids for.

Without an exam it's hard to say. We can walk you through the history and exam if you contact us otherwise I would recommend getting seen if severe.

No Guarantee: Lifting weights after surgery can increase your risk of hernia. Incisions take a full 6 months to heal completely. I suggest that you wait for 6 months.
