hi. my daughter woke up on saturday with some little red spots on her cheek, that got bigger yesterday and is being spread today. now we can find some little red spots on her arms, legs and butt. should it be spreadable to others?

Hard to say: The description is too vague to be specific. Much of rash analysis requires past history, recent exposures, review of vital signs and an exam. If this bothers her r you have her evaluated.

Possibly: Persons may develop allergic antibodies to the componets of wine (grape) or beer (barley, rye, hops) or even to the brewer's yeast. Some are also sensitive to the perservatives used such as sulfites. Un-sulfited wine is available in most wine shops. If consumption of any food or beverage repeatly results in an allergic symptom, then you are by definition allergic, regardless of the mechanism.

my son is 4 months old. he was taking a nap in my arms, when he had woke up i noticed he had a raised bruise that covered his shin with red spots.

See below: Is it a bruise or a raised red welt?  If the areas are actual red/purple bruises, then get the child seen now, especially if fussy, febrile, or any breathing problems.

my toddler has flat, red spots all over her arms & a few on her legs. we assumed bug bites as she woke up with them yesterday morning. however, since this morning, she's been up and down with a high fever. i'm not sure if it's related. any ideas?

: I would advise seeing Pediatric urgent care or your physician right away. The fever usually represents an infection and the rash may ea viral or bacterial rash.  The latter requires antibiotic therapy. From your description, MRSA should be considered. Watch for prolonged fever, swelling of joints and extremities and red eyes. DVT upper extremity: It could be a blood clot in the superficial or deep veins or both superficial and deep veins and the only way to know is to get a noninvasive scan called a Duplex venous ultrasound. I suggest that you get one as soon as possible.

Skin: Consider common condition called atopic dermatitis or eczema. W/o seeing skin can't tell. Consult physician but in meantime use good moisturizer, non prescrition and safe- cerave cream available at most pharmacies. Dermatologist recommended. Use twice day.

Prob not Bed bugs: These are INTENSELY itchy, and typically occur on the legs though not always.  Without seeing the spots not possible to diagnose.  They could be bites.  If they are bruises they will go away. If they are tiny and red might be cherry angiomas.

Cherry angiomas: Could be broken blood vessels or cherry angiomas which are vascular lesions. Red spots can also occur with drug reactions or other types of rashes. Did they suddenly occur or been there a long time makes a difference in the diagnosis.
