Varies: Healing varies by person and there is no correlation with the difficulty of removal in my experience.  Ovoiding disturbing the blood clot will make them heal faster.

A dental problem: You need a dental exam to make a diagnosis, you may have gingiviits and periodontal disease. When did you last see your dentist?

It depends: A completely erupted  wisdom tooth certainly will make a extraction easier.  Some general dentist are very skilled at extractions and some don't do extractions. So talk to your dentist about your particular tooth. Hope this helps.

Wisdom teeth: Wisdom teeth that are not able to emerge normally become impacted or trapped within the jaw.  If they emerge partially through the the gums a passageway is created and can become infected.  Some dentists recommend removing them if they don't fully emerge or if they grow near the nerve of the lower jaw.  Some believe that it is better to remove them early.  See your dentist for exam and his opinion

Worried? Probably no: So many more important things to be worried about. You should. however, have that tooth evaluated. Most people do not have enough room for their wisdom teeth, and once they break through the surface, food and bacteria can get caught underneath the gum. Consider extraction.

: Recovery depends on ones health and following the post op directions. Good oral hygiene and a soft diet is also important.

i had a impacted wisdom tooth taken out 4 months ago and i am still in pain some days more than others i have been back to the dentist a few times?

Proabably unrelated: After 4 months the extraction site should be entirely healed. A possible exception would be a piece of jaw bone working it's way out of the jaw. This would present as a sore on your gum that is hard and possibly movable like pebble lodged in the gums. If your dentist has not had the chance to recheck go back. If they can't find anything ask for a referral to an oral surgeon. Best wishes.

No: Avoid forceful nose blowing , rough cleaning , dryness and nose picking. if no active bleeding u may have ur tooth extracted.

Teething: If wisdom teeth erupting, you are teething.  Now you know why infants get fussy when they teeth.  OTC pain Meds (I prefer Ibuprofen/Advil/Motrin) may help take the edge off until you can get in to see your Dentist for examination/X-ray's/treatment.  Pain may be due to something other than wisdom teeth, so see Dentist ASAP.  FOLLOW DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS ON PAIN MED PACKAGE TO THE LETTER.
