See your dentist: For some temporary relief, you can rinse with warm salt water to reduce swelling and take otc Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation, if you're not allergic. You can also try a small mouth guard from target etc so you have some space between upper and lower teeth in the back bringing you temporary relief. Try otc oragel to numb up the area if too much discomfort but, go see your dentist soon.

This needs a ck: Take her to the dentist .Someone needs to have a look see.
It may be just an irritation from a new wisdom tooth causing this local irritation.Best to get it checked and have someone fix it.

TransientParesthesia: If the nerve damage is from pressure following surgery and the nerve hasn’t been severed then there is a pretty good chance that recovery will occur in 3-6 month. Magnesium, and B vitamins, especially Vitamin B1, B12 and Vitamin A are recommended. See your surgeon for eval.

Yes: Could also be gum disease, allergic reaction, para functional habit, joint dysfunction, or one of so many other problems.  Have your dentist check this for you.  If wisdom tooth problem, dentist may want to refer you to oral surgeon.

Problem: Even though you do not see a wisdom tooth it does not mean that the problem does not originate from an erupting tooth below the gum line. Could also be the opposing wisdom tooth erupting. Could also be other dental problems. Therefore in order to know what it is and what to do about it you will need to see your local dentist.

: Don't stress. Not sure what your risk factors are (smoking, chewing tobacco, alcohol), but internet searches are not the way to go. You'll need to make an appointment with a local dentist or oral who can actually examine you and biopsy the lesions if it is necessary.
