Tramadol SEs: I would not expect Tramadol to cause weight gain as it is more likely to cause nausea and decrease appetite. You may however, tend to eat more to reduce the nausea.

No and yes: No, tramadol should not cause any wt gain, but yes - taking this with bupropion may increase your risk of seizures especially at higher doses.  A history of seizures would be a contraindication for using buproprron in most cases.

Probably not: But if your treating a musculoskeletal condition with those meds, your likely less active than you were before, and that can make you gain some weight.

Tramadol may cause seizures, and taking it with Adipex that can also cause seizures; may increase that risk. The interaction may be more likely if you are undergoing alcohol or drug withdrawal, have a history of seizures, or have head trauma.

i have tried nsaids .  was  previously on 800 mg ibuprofen  3x a day.  caused stomach issues.  was put on tramadol.  no  difference in pain despite taking it 4x a day.  have  been given cortisone shots .  helps with pain for approx 2 weeks, then back to pain and discomfort.   pain scale varies between 4 to 7 on daily basis depending on activity.   i need to lose weight but knee pain prevents me from vigirous exercise

Knee pain: First you need a diagnosis as to the cause of your knee pain. Patients can tolerate NSAIDs when taken with foods, but taking medications like omeprazole or famotidine may allow you to better tolerate them. As you found, intraarticular injections of corticosteroids offer short-lived relief.  If you haven't already done so, I recommend consulting an orthopedic specialist for diagnosis &amp; treatment.

Tramadol: Any medication used long term is not a good idea especially if its used for pain. There are issues of tolerance and possible dependence with tramadol when used long term. I would strongly caution against use long term.
