Sure: Progesterone suppositories are inserted once or twice daily inside your vagina. Most do not have any problems with it. Some women can have some discharge and some can have bloating and feel crampy. Some feel drowsy. Most feel completely normal. Painful 1st period may just be related to having a stressful cycle trying to conceive or from all the hormones you have taken. Good Luck to you

Yes, increase clomid (clomiphene): One indication of a luteal phase defect is inadequate progestone level, after ovulation. Clomid (clomiphene), (clomiphene) is a drug that can help decrease luteal phase defect and raise Progesterone levels.  Testing Progesterone can confirm whether or not Clomid (clomiphene) triggered ovulation. The levels should rise to 15 ng/mL or higher. Progesterone levels normally remain high for around 12 days after ovulation.

can you get a period on progesterone suppositories? i am on 100mg daily twice a day while i wait for testing day for my iui (july 4th will be 14 days). also, i will be using a off-brand blue dye preg test. rumors are saying blue dye is not accurate?

: Daily progesterone suppositories are given to prevent inadequate progesterone production by the ovary, however, if there is a significant decrease in ovarian production of progesterone subsequent to ovulation, bleeding may occur.  A home pregnancy test or a serum HCG test after "14 days" post IUI  should indicate if pregnancy has occurred.

after 14days of my ovulation i tested hpt it was neg.i stopped progesterone suppositories. but it s two days late and my period  is not started. why?

Progesterone Dose: Depending on your Progesterone dose, 50 mg per day (low), 200 mg per day (high) it might take 2 or 4-5 days, respectively before you see any bleeding. Retest with an urine pregnancy test if no bleeding in 5 days after stopping your Progesterone suppositories.

shall i continue to take junior aspirin after a neg pregnancy test  iui two weeks just finished cyclogest (progesterone) suppositories will i get a heavy period?

Depends: I normally have my patients continue their low-dose Aspirin throughout their cycle. Ask your physician though, they may want you to stop the low-dose Aspirin with a menstrual cycle. It normally doesn't increase the flow of the menstrual cycle though.

Suppository: As long as they are not causing you to be nauseated, I am unaware of any contraindication to progesterone suppositories and swimming. Probably prudent to wait an hour to swim to let the suppository to absorb before swimming.

does progesterone suppositories cause brown discharge ?  i'm 5weeks 4days btw

Not really: It's common to have some brown spotting early in pregnancy. It is not caused by the Progesterone though. An ultrasound in a week or so should be able to see if you have a viable embryo. In the meantime, you should continue the Progesterone as directed by your doctor. And call the doctor if you have any bright red bleeding!

Talk to yor doctor: The physician who performed your IUI will make those recommendations and should be able to describe to you the risks, benefits, and side effects.
