Constipation: First of all quit giving him Karo syrup as there is a risk of infant botulism with this.  Secondly some babies may normally go this long without a BM.  Some go everyday or multiple times a day.  If he is acting well, eating and sleeping well, urinating well and his tummy is soft, then he is fine.  If not go see his pediatrician for an exam and tips for dealing with this.

Botulism: This is a rare condition in the USA and is virtually never seen as a result of commercial foods or additives. Your baby may not be getting enough liquids. You might also discuss her diet (beyond the breast milk) with her pediatrician. Good luck.

Laxatives: Lacsyp is a laxative like lactulose, aristozyme is a digestive enzyme not a laxative. Occasional laxative use may be OK, but it's far better to increase natural fiber in your diet or add soluble fiber to maintain normal and regular bowel movements.

Light karo's okay...: I prefer full strength prune juice, 1 oz given spaced out  1-3X/d but light karo also works. Both are an old fashion remedy that rely on the fact the kid doesn't absorb the material like older kids/adults &amp; it works by drawing water into the stool mix. I was taught never to use the dark karo for a reason that escapes me. Either take 3-4 days to bring results,

Wt check, water: Have you tried giving him water? I would recommend starting with 1 oz a day and see if it helps with the constipation. As for the spit ups, if he feeds well, is gaining weight, and does not seem in pain, i would not be treating the reflux symptoms with the above formula. If there are any worsening of his symptoms/problems he should be reevaluated immediately.

Hydrate : If all tests and exams point to normal and you're not taking meds that cause constipation, perhaps it might be something simple like the need for HYDRATION.  Many people during the day going about life and forget to drink water or an occasional sports drink.  Coffee, tea an caffeinated beverages don't count. In fact, those are counter-productive.

I wouldn't: The manufacturer does not condone any use in kids under age 10. Stool softening agents like Miralax (US) can be used are available over the counter in many areas. Their gentile action allows them to be used for long periods without side effects.
