Doubtful: I question that these are related at all.  But if you have a lot of floaters , be sure to see an eye doctor especially if you are very near-sighted.

had eye exam 3 months ago everything was fine, last few weeks experiencing lot of floaters especially on a computer can vision change quickly or  can this be due allergies or something else?

Update on floaters: Most floaters in the vision as you described are benign &amp; not of concern except as a nuisance. However, if increasing or associated with flashes of light or any dark patches such as a "curtain" then evaluation by your eye MD is needed for risks of retinal damage. If symptoms are worsening, time can be of the essence. Also, dehydration or eye rubbing can contribute to the symptoms so avoid these.

Floaters: Most common it is recommended to have an immediate exam when they first occur to rule out retinal detachment.  Typically floaters are not associated with allergies. It is possible you are having uveitis associated with the allergies.

No: Eye floaters are an annoying chronic problem.  There is no specific treatment for them.  If you notice a sudden increase in the number of floaters this can be a sign of retinal detachment and must be evaluated immediately.

can flonase cause a floater in your eye?. or is allergies more likely the cause of it?.  i've just started having issues with allergies this year.

Not expected: A few small floaters may be ok but if you are noticing new ones popping up or large ones coming on, you need to call your eye doctor immediately. Allergy per se is not associated with floaters and unless you have overdosed on Flonase, systemic effect is not expected. If you have high myopia and are noticing floaters, an eye exam is also called for ASAP.

Burning vs itchiness: Burning is usually due to drying out of the tear film (ie, dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction, chemical exposure); allergies usually cause itchiness. Viral infections usually cause severe itchiness; bacterial infections cause severe yellowish/green discharge. Floaters are the black objects many see when looking at a white background. ? Normal finidings: You should keep in contact with your ophthalmologic  retinal specialist in that symptoms could indicate serious retinal problems. Changes in symptoms may reflect advancing pathology.

Floaters,: Floaters, the little bits of scar tissue in the jelly of the eye that lead or lag behind the motion of the eye thus drift or "float" are made worse in excessive eye rubbing or worse can lead to retinal tears or detachment. Avoid this practice. Treat the itching if that is what the problem is in the first place. Wear your corrective lenses to see where you are going or it won't be just eyes hurt.
