Get PAP smear : Early cervical cancer may not have any symptoms. Get PAP smears as recommended by your doctor, or at least once every 3 years.

Numbing the nerves: This is a series of shots around the cervix to numb the entire area up.  By numbing very specific nerves, the whole area goes numb, allowing for procedures to be performed such as biopsies.

In office? : If you're doing an endometrial ablation in the office setting then it is highly advised to have a paracervical block. This anesthesia should not cost much more. The high cost of the procedure is the ablation itself. If this is going through your insurance the anesthesia cost would be bundled into the overall payment anyway.

getting hsg done. never had any surgery or mc. is there chance my tube is still blocked? is it painful? i'm really susceptible to pain! please advise!

Yes: The reason for doing the test is to make sure that your tube is not blocked. The test can be uncomfortable, so i would take ibuprofen/alleve an hour before (as long as you don't have an allergy). You may also get antibiotics to take afterward depending on the test results.

Get seen: Its not always easy to feel the string u may be missing it, but go in and let them check it out.

i burned 3 of my fingers by accidentally putting my hand on a coil stovetop burner. this was about 4-5 hours ago. the burned skin is white, not blistering. im also still experiencing quite painful burning sensation in my fingers. what should i do?

: Place the area that is burned under cold running water immediately. This will help take the heat out of the tissue slowing the destruction of soft tissue by the heat. If blisters form use antibiotic Ointment

after taking 2full days of amoxicillin for very painful ear infection i feel no better. ear is still blocked and red hot.do i need stronger antibiotic?

May be: If there is no improvement after 72 hours, your ear remains painful or you develop fever, it's better for you to have your doctor recheck your ear.
