As all antibiotics: Clavamel is a mixture of amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate. The dosage is pediatric. Most patients have no issues with it, but in some patients can cause stomach discomfort. Take it or offer it with plenty of water.

Need more info.: I have ?s. How old are you?  Any pain?  Any troubles with urinating or moving bowels?  How long has it felt hard?  Diffusely or locally hard?  Do you have any medical conditions or take any medications?  If it's newly and quickly hard you may want to get to an Emergency Room for some testing.

If the pain lasts more than 24-36 hours, get it checked.
