Not sure: You probably need additional medicine or a higher dose. You could have an infection. Are you following your diet? Those are the ususual reasons for poor control.

The : The connection between Prozac (fluoxetine) and glucose level is not well defined, however, several animal studies showed increase glucose in the brain after administring fluoxetine. In humans however, the impact on glucose in individuals who have t2dm is actually lowered averge glucose and a1c, opposite to what you are stating. If your weight increased recently, this may explain (at least in part) your bs changes. See if you can discuss this further with your nutritionist/physician. Of note, high bs sometimes can be reactive and secondary to low bs so if you have any symptoms of hypoglycemia (such as sweating , dizziness, stomach pain), please do not hesistate to check your bs. Lastly, i suggest that you also check your bs at 2:00am for the next few nights to rule out nocturnal hypoglycemia. Good luck.

Diabetes: It is very common for a diabetic to need medication adjustment as the years go by. There are newer medicines now that should help regulate your sugar. See your doctor for evaluation and treatment options.

Be very careful: I have not persoanlly recommended it but I have patients who have decided to take it themselves. There are some published papers  from india, but these are of low quality. Diabecon has not gone through fda monitoring, and could be dangerous or contaminated. Type 2: On occasion type 2 diabetes may be improved via diet, exercise and weight loss but it is unlikely that type 1 will be controlled or managed this way and could lead to excessively high sugar levels with eventual long term complications. Tight control is currently the best way we have of minimizing these.

Sweets drinks: All juices, except you'll get away with cranberry 'lite', v-8 , tomato juice

Depends: On how severe your diabetes is.  If you have type 1 diabetes, you need Insulin and there's no 2 ways about it.  If you have type 2 and your sugars are not terribly elevated, you might be able to control this (even reverse it!) with aggressive lifestyle change - diet, exercise, weight loss. Work with a physician who you trust.

i take a once a week shot for my diabetes, ozempic, the half life is five days my question is how long will it take for the ozempic to completely get out of my system. i am asking this question because i want to start a new medicine?

Basics: The standard mantra is it takes 4 half lives for a drug to be out of your system. Other factors will change depending on the properties of a given medicine. Discuss this with your doc &amp; they will consider this when they make the change as well as how they would advise you to monitor the transition.
