: We still have limited information about the impact of Covid-19 infection in the first trimester but it seems your baby has been doing well after more than 2 weeks since the infection.  Risk to fetus from one CXR, azithromycin and diclofenac (in the first trimester) is negligible.

Well,...: Antibiotics ca decrease the efficacy of Birth control by less than 1%, so there is a small chance.  Doubtful as the chances are small, but still you need to know the risk of pregnancy does go minimally up compared to NOT being on an antibiotic.  I recommend condoms too supplement Birth control pills when taking antibiotics.  Best wishes.

i have bad heartburn due to pregnancy and always taking gaviscon. now got infection and taking azithromycin for 5 days.  is it ok to take them both?

Not at the same time: The Gaviscon can reduce the effectiveness of the azithromycin. Take the Azithromycin 1st. Wait an hour or two before taking the gaviscon.

Tests are accurate: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.
