Breast tissue: Breast are made of milk ducts, supportive tissue and fatty tissue. Women with dense breasts have a higher ratio of supportive tissue to fatty tissue. One is not better than the other. We are all made a little differently

Get looked at: What part of the chest is it.,Which rib?You need this looked at.Could be a lymph node,a lipoma ,some type of cyst but difficult to assess without looking at.

No, not necessarily: Dense breasts are a common finding in mammograms of younger females. It is really a physiologic effect of hormones. As women age breasts become less dense. Breast cancer can be more difficult to detect in dense breasts, so an ultrasound examination is often added to mammography in order to get a more detailed look inside the breast.

dx with abn. preg. 8w no baby in 5w6d sac. given cytotec (misoprostol) passed several clots, gray tissue, but don't know what a large solid mass was size of 50cp. ?

Tissue: This sounds like normal tissue and, since there was no fetus seen but still a sac, you can expect it to be fairly informed in appearance when the tissue passes. Remember, as unfortunate as this is, it was not due to anything that you did or didn't do and was beyond your power to have changed. So many things have to go just right at just the right time to have a normal baby, each is a true miracle.

40yo mammo, dense tissue. mri show 7mm mass 10:00. u/s didn't find that but 5mm "cyst" @11:00. being sent to breast surgeon. what liklihood of cancer?

The probability: of the MRI mass being cancerous depends on a number of MRI features, including the shape and borders of the mass, and the way it enhances after the contrast injection.  So there is not enough information to make an assessment .  The fact that it wasn't seen on U/S doesn't make much difference.  The cyst is benign.  What is the BIRADS code at the end of the report? That gives the level of suspicion

under left breast/on ribs-closer to sternum- have a sore spot thats tender to touch. hx of dense breast tissue& muscle issues on l chest/neck/shoulder. last u/s 1yr ago.dont know if pain is from an injury, recently took femara. could be pregnant?

: If you had sex since your last period and miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. Wish you good health!
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. Consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
