I : I donâ€™t know what is making your nose bleed.  Some common reasons can include: nasal congestion or nasal dryness, high blood pressure and excessive use of decongestants. Being at a high altitude, trauma to the nose, picking the nose, or blowing the nose hard. Bacterial and viral infections can increase the risk as well as  bleeding disorders.  There can be recurrent nose bleeds if a small vessel in the nose is broken.

Epistaxis : Is nose bleed. It can happen with nasal allergies(running nose, sneezing, or itchiness), dryness in nose , getting hit on nose (sneezing is a way of getting hit in nose- lots of force when sneezing). This cause capillaries to bleed. Take zyrtec, apply vaseline inside nose. Hope it helps.

Dissolving Scab: You must have a scab in your nose from a prior nose bleed. When you cry, you get overflow from the nasolacrimal duct, and tears drain inside as well as outside.  This is why our noses run when we cry. The tears would moisten the scab and cause it to disolve and the nose to bleed again.  Pinch and hold for one full minute. Better for 5 minutes. Never stuff tissue inside to check, (rips scab away).

Various reasons: You could have a bleeding disorder that makes it more likely for you to bleed.  Certain medications can cause you to bleed more easily.  You may need to have blood work and/or an ENT evaluation.

Alcohol can also act  like a blood thinner, causing your platelets to be less "sticky" and not clot well.   This is apparently more common in male drinkers than women.
