Possible cyst: It may simply be referred pain since all of our pelvic organs lie on the same muscular bed and pelvic nerves. It may also represent some type of cyst on the ovary as well. Since it is arouond the time of your period, a gyn may be the best to see if the pain becomes severe or debillitating.

Cramping : It may be caused by uterine contraction, meaning cramping pain and radiating to left side. If it always happens at same area each period and pain gets worse and worse, then endometriosis should be roles out. Need to see gynecologist.

Grinding feeling: Definitely not a sign of menopause. Possibly it is a cramp from the tube on that side as periods are associated with cramping pain. If the feeling resolves on its own and no other symptoms present and the discomfort is not that bad, i'd just watch it.

You could have: a variety of causes, from an ovarian cyst to a pelvic infection.   If you are pregnant, this would be a concerning pain.   It’s best to be checked out with an exam from a physician.

Worrisome: Pain and a discharge are worrisome for a possible infection. Your symptoms may all be normal but seeing your PCP or GYN would be a good idea. A full history, exam, and appropriate testing would be necessary to know for sure. Hope this helps.

Hard to tell/no exam: It is hard enough to diagnose ovarian cancer with an examination and ancillary index of suspicion. It is impossible in this forum to give you an accurate answer  without a physical  examination by a GYN MD. See one soon.

Many options: There are multiple options. Hormonal treatments such as birth control pills, Progesterone treatments and the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud are effective reversible treatments that will help many people. There is also a drug called Lysteda that contains no hormones which will help others. Consider seeing an Obgyn for an evaluation of painful periods

Testing needed: some things are safe to check on your own but you should really get in to see your doctor for a hands on evaluation and some labs, and possibly imaging.  hope you feel better soon.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, particularly to rule out bleeding in your intestine.
