Cough headache: There are a couple of possibilities. Coughing can raise the pressure inside your head, which can cause pain sometimes. Maybe sinus: Possibly you have sinus congestion and when you do these things, your sinus blockage/congestion is being aggravated.

: The issue is whether this is a benign symptom occurring in the scalp and not from within the brain. Since the cough feels superficial and is short lived, I favor a scalp pain. If you still have concerns consult your physician or a neurologist for evaluation &amp; advice. Any appropriate testing will be ordered.

Sinus headache : It sounds like you may have a sinus type headache . No wonder your CT of the head is negative . I believe  a ct of the Osteomeatal  unit - sinuses would be positive and could reveal some thickening in the sinuses or fluid levels . See an ENT . Most have this scanner in their offices . Take care .

COUGHING: If you have all these symptoms then I recommend self-isolating and calling an ambulance to take you to the emergency room of your nearest hospital to be tested to know how you need to be treated.

: The best thing for now is to continue pain medication for the headache, adequater rest with gentle exercises as tolerated by your body. Drink adequate fluid especially in view of the heat. Inadequate fluid intake may actually make the headache worse and adequate fluid intake would soften the cough.

Comments: Would suggest you likely have either an upper respiratory tract infection or asthma, and this could readily be controlled.  The cough probably exacerbates the neck which triggers the headaches.  All of this could readily be addressed by your regular doctor.
