Ears blocked from na: Your ears are most likely blocked due to nasal allergies or a bad cold. This may result in an ear infection because of the blockage of eustachian tubes. Eustachian tubes allow air to enter middle ears whenever we swollow it is beast to consult your physician to start treating your allergies.

i have times when i feel off balance and my ears are very sensitive to vibration (even the fan running).  is this from fluid?  sensitive to noise too.

Inner vs middle ear: If you had fluid in your middle ear, the biggest complaint would be hearing loss and ear pain, and seldom balance problems or noise sensitivity. The inner ear houses the balance organ, and when fluid pressure builds here, balance is affected  & loud and vibratory sounds can be painful. You can be evaluated for both middle and inner ear problems and have your balance assessed by an otolaryngologist.

when i turn my head, something within my r. ear feels like its pulling. its tender to touch, sharp pain even when applying facial lotion..15+ years ago, hit by volleyball close range in that same side. feel it now.. both ears are sensitive to noise?

Pressure on ear drum: This can happen for a few different reasons.   The problem could be originating in your brain, such as in people who experience this as part of a migraine headache syndrome.  More likely, it is a problem with pressure in the inner ear which can occur with allergies, or eustachian tube dysfunction.  It can also happen when changing elevations quickly, like driving up or down a mountain.

how will i know when the fluid in my ears go away? i've been told to treat it with zyrtec d ( job physical doctor,not my primary). how long should i keep taking this?  ears always (10+years) seem sensitive to noise and touch. my doctors never saw it.

Fluid: If you have fluid in both middle ears you should be under the care of an Otolaryngologist to determine the cause and decide whether tubes should be inserted to drain fluid from the auditory tube.

Earache: This can happen from time to time. A patient is diagnosed with an ear infection, completes a course of antibiotic, but the pain persists. Likely reasons are: a different antibiotic is needed, a new infection began, the initial diagnosis was incorrect, and others.  In all cases, a follow up exam is needed and a discussion with your doctor are needed.

Acid reflux : The balance and noise issues are not related to acid reflux but all the other symptoms are.  See your local ENT and they can check your hearing and sort out all of your problems with the reflux.  Good luck!  feel better!

Doctor can examine: Throat pain with flu-like symptoms can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (Tamiflu may be used, if diagnosed early enough), or from some other cause. Usually, a person sees her doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to look for strep). Throat lozenges and acetaminophen or ibuprofen may temporarily lessen pain.

Usually, ear pain that is very bad, is not improving after 2 days, or that is persistent or recurrent, should be seen by a doctor. The doctor generally needs to examine the patient's head, neck, ears, nose, and throat to see if antibiotics are needed for treating an infection.
