Vaginal dryness: As long as you are healthy, slowness in lubrication usually reflects stress and tension. In these busy times, it may be difficult to really relax--moreso for women than for men. If there are any issues that cause tension between you and your partner, or if you don't really know your partner that well yet, this will also contribute to the problem. Just stay with it and explain how you feel.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine): Benadryl is diphenhydramine which is an anti-histamine used to treat allergies. A side effect can be a dry mouth, because diphenhydramine blocks glands from releasing secretions.  If a dose of 25 mg taken 2 - 4 hours before intercourse is not sufficient to decrease vaginal wetness, 50 mg may be, but not more than that.

This allows the easier insertion of your partner and/or other toys.  Lubrication increases pleasure and helps avoid damage from friction.

Dysparunea is common: Dysparunia post partum is not uncommon.Your wife may be too tired for sex.Post partum depression  may be present.Hormonal imbalance  may be present.If she had a difficult delivery it may take a while to return to normal.

Please Clarify: If you are on birth control then this question would be unnecessary.  It makes no sense. If you are on birth control and taking them correctly then there is little to no risk of becoming pregnant. If you are wanting to become pregnant then please explain why you are taking birth control.

Can wait 1 more week: Sometimes a pregnancy test at 14 days after sex can give a positive result, but it is better to wait until 21 days (the result is more reliable at 3 weeks after sex, so one is less likely to need a repeat test).

Missed pill: You really shouldn't be having unprotected sex if you miss more then one pill per cycle.  So, yes in the situation you described you can get pregnant.  Probably time to use a condom back up.

Morning after pills: starting daily birth control pills after unprotected intercourse will probably not prevent pregnancy but depending on the type of pill you may be able to take additional pills for a day or two to reduce the likelihood of conceiving. you may also take pills that are specifically dosed for emergency contraception. you may need a prescription in some places
