Need serious Rx: Acne on the trunk will not respond adequately just to topical rx alone. Your physician may write for a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day, or you may go directly to Accutane if the lesions are cystic / severe. A dermatologist can deal with the scars once the disease settles down. All acne can be controlled nowadays and it should be your right.

they are like in a line starting from the back of the head to the neck side and now they reach the shoulder top.

i am worried as they are extending and hurt sooooooo much?

Question unclear: I doubt there is any link between the nose &amp; your shingles.That is a regional problem that follows a nerve distribution along its path. It can extend from the midline in the back to the midline in front one one side.If you have spots on your nose it is likely a minor staph/strep infection.

Retin A (tretinoin): Retin a (tretinoin) is a  prescription. The generic, tretoin, is the same but costs less. Tretinoin gel should be obtained in the largest size.  Apply a very small amount every night. At first it may be irritating & drying, so you may skip a night sometimes. It is less irritating if you wait 20 minutes after washing. Expect improvement after 3 months, then continue for at least a year. Frustrating, but it tak.

Get serious: You're going to need your physician's prescription-strength medication, as topical treatment is almost never sufficient when it's on your trunk. A combination of systemic tetracycline and topical benzoyl peroxide may clear you, or if you're a woman who can take the oral contraceptive pill, this may work like magic. Isotretinoin is for tough cases and isn't for the faint-herated.
