Hydrocortisone: Maybe just a rash from irritation - try Hydrocortisone 1%. If does not help may need to see your doc as it could be fungal infection. In general the back of the knee tends to be moist and allergic rash as well as fungal infection are common.

Dermatologist: I would recommend evaluation by a dermatologist.  Skin lesions are hard to diagnose without visualization.

Arthritis: It may be a form of arthritis and you may need more specific blood work. You could try  aleeve or Motrin to see if this gives you releif.

i have a bug bite behind my knee. it constantly itches and is swelling. the pain has gotten so severe that i cannot extend my leg. what do i do?

Infected?: If it is red and hot it may be infected. If you think that is possible then see a doctor as soon as you can. Infections can become more serious if left untreated. If it is not red and hot try some cool compresses and hydrocortisone cream to try do decrease the itching until it resolves.

Yeast or: It could be a yeast infection or psoriasis or eczema by my guess without seeing it.

Tingling: Many things could cause the sensation you are describing, one the common causes that comes to mind is  "meralgia parasthetica".  This refers to compression of the one of the nerves that supplies sensation to your outer thigh.  Treatment is usually supportive.
