Rough Ribs: The chest wall is made up of several structures; the vertebra in the spine, the ribs themselves, and the manubrium and sternum in the front.  The lower ribs don't all connect in the front to create a joint along the breast bone, but rather attach to cartilage to complete the "cage".  Any joint (front or back) or the cartilage can become inflamed with certain positions.  A better mattress may help.

Not enough info: You did not say if you hurt yourself  or had an injury and how long it has been bothering you also if you have difficulty breathing or not lot of time  it can be a pulled muscle or inflammation that will  resolve in time but it can be serious too . Difficult to tell without examining you so talk to your primary care doctor who can get necessary work up to diagnose your problem and offer treatment.

Uncertain where pain: It is uncertain where  the pain really is. It may be  ribs but may not  be. It may be ribs or  may not  be. Ibuprofen and Aspirin can cause  stomach upset and even ulcers which could  hurt in the abdomen and get  better  with eating. If you have pid this can cause  pain in the uterus but  medications  for  this could be causing these symptoms. Your  physician should be  contacted to clarify this.

Rib pain: Did you fall or have a cold with a lot of coughing.
Sleeping in a poor position too could be the cause.
Take some ibuprofen for a few days, if continues then see your primary care.
Go to emergency department if pain worsens or your breathing becomes difficult
