Possible Raynauds: Exposure to a cold environment such as in winter (also too much air conditioning) in some otherwise normal people can cause spasm of the small and medium size arteries: raynauds disease. This causes a pale or blue color and some pain. Warm clothes, gloves, heavy socks and shoes and a hat help or move somewhere warm. It is usually a benign. If this sounds not like you check with your M.D.

A thorough history and physical exam and possibly some laboratory and radiology exams are needed to determine the exact cause.

Varicose veins: Pregnancy causes the blood vessels to enlarge. After pregnancy, they should shrink, but sometimes don't completely. You may be having some problem with fluid retention in lower pelvis/lower legs because of this.

Close monitoring: Close monitoring of your blood glucose levels is advised. Please follow up with your Endocrinologist and Pediatrician. These symptoms may be due to poor circulation. Exercise normally unless there is respiratory distress or chest pain. Follow your dietary restrictions, drink fluids and monitor your temperature.

Please : Please see your primary care doctor and have this completely evaluated.  You need to get your renal function checked.  You may also have low serum albumen (protein) that causes edema.  You may need to be on medications to help you with the swelling.  You may need your heart function checked.  Please be seen and have this completely evaluated.
