Further eval needed: Raynauds syndrome is a vascular response , in which, there is constriction of blood vessel,  as a response to certain stimuli, not only cold exposure, but also, certain chemical and or sustained vibration,among other things. It could occur as an isolated finding or associated to an underlying connective tissue disorder.  Joint hyper mobility or laxity of joints bears no relationship to Raynauds

In raynaud's disease, smaller arteries that supply blood to your skin narrow, limiting blood circulation to affected areas.

Misinterpret: You misinterpret the color of your feet for "poor circulation". Poor circulation means inadequate arterial supply (blood rich in oxygen). Your feet turn purple when venous blood pools (blood low on oxygen, returning to the heart/lungs). Pooling occurs normally due to gravity and position. Obesity can be a factor for some people.  I'll bet if U elevate your legs, the purple color will disappear!

Blockage: You may have one or several arterial blockages in the lower legs.  Either in the thigh or in the legs. You should see a vascular specialist immediately. An ultrasound will determine if you have an occlusion.

Phenomena: Like this suggest slow down of your venous return, normal for some people but could be associated to connective tissue disorders. Discuss with a rheumatologist. Good luck.

Need to see doctor: There are many reasons that legs may swell including kidney disease and heart failure. You really need to see a doctor and get an exam and some blood tests done to find the cause of swelling and purple hands and feet.
