Gastritis/PUD: You may have gastritis, gastric ulcer, GERD or PUD. The other possibilities are biliary colic (inflammation or stones in common bile duct) &amp; pancreatic abnormalities. Tips: try less spicy food, small meals multiple times a day,avoid nicotine, chocolate. Also try OTC anti-acids  such as tums, (calcium carbonate) Maalox, peptide or other H2 blocker; &amp; Omeprazole or other PPIs. No improvement see your PCP for evaluation

RLQ pain: Although  there are many things that can cause RLQ abdominal pain in a Young woman, one of the considerations is the possibility of appendicitis, especially if this is a new pain which has not been present before. Since appendicitis can be an emergency, you should be seen ASAP. I would go to the emergency room or your doctor today. Do not delay. Good luck.

Symptoms vs. Reality: Symptoms=interpretations by person who perceives them (within their brain↔mind) &amp; only clues as to what is possibly happening. Better diagnoses (just labels, not necessarily accurate/useful for solutions) also require signs (exam, lab findings, etc.) &amp; time in order to offer reasonable guesses to what might be happening. Medicine not magical; physicians=only detectives. ER bad place for good help.

Not Likely: Each month, ovulation causes the development of a dominant follicle that may measure 2-3 cm in size.  This is a normal activity for the ovary.  Larger cysts or a ruptured cyst could cause the symptoms you mention.  Pelvic infection also could.  You should see your doctor for evaluation if you have had the symptoms for a while.

Fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension? Painful urination, blood in urine? Recent trauma, herniation? Stressors? Other risks?
