Unclear: It is unclear what the question is.  However, I suggest you get an eye exam, as new symptoms that affect vision should be evaluated.  There are so many things that can go wrong with the eyes...

: I've heard some people who have intraocular lens inserted with cataract surgery mention this, but this wouldn't apply to you. I'm concerned enough to recommend that you have a careful eye examination by your ophthalmologist to exclude retinal pathology although you may simply have harmless floaters.

Macular degeneration: Central vision deterioration or macular degeneration is the most common cause of blindness in the United States.  It is usually associated with second hand cigarette smoke  There are also genetic diseases such as Leber's Dystrophy and Myopic Macular degeneration or deterioration that can lead to central vision loss.  It's imperative that you see an ophthalmologist, preferably a retina specialist.

Ocular Migraine: These are called scintillating schotomas- part of the ocular migraine or ophthalmic (also called ocular) migraine.  Patients have spasms of the arteries at supply the eye and get these symptoms. Temporary loss of blood flow causes temporary sight loss.  If it persists or interferes with daily activities then go to your primary care doctor for an exam and treatment.

Many reasons: It could be central serous retinopathy, migraine, etc. You should see an eye doctor or retina specilaist.

is it possible to become a neurologist or a neurosurgeon without central vision?

Certainly neurology: Neurologist are diagnosticians, and diagnosis is done mainly by listening to patients.  It would be a handicap to have difficulty seeing MRI scans and other information, but certainly very possible to practice neurology without central vision.  Neurosurgery requires good vision for detail when operating.

See your doctor: This is a problem that requires a face-to-face meeting with your doctor.  In that meeting, your doctor will listen to you, perform a throrough examination and possibly order labs or other tests. Based on this information, he/she will be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.
