Allergies/infection: There are many possibilities. The vulvar area is prone to environmental sensitivities, like allergies, that can cause itching. Why at night? Maybe you are sensitive to the laundry soap your sheets are washed in? Infections, such as an external yeast infection, or pubic lice, or even pinworm, are all possibilities. Get examined to rule those out.

im currently taking terconazole 7.. last night was my third night using i have some relieve but not completely. after a couple of hours inserting the applicator with the cream i get itchy. is this normal? or should i stop?

See a doctor: If your itching continues while on an antifungal medication like terconazole it probably means that you have some other form of infection, not yeast. You need to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Hive worse at night: Sounds like urticaria with dermatograhism, but the pain and duration could indicate other diagnoses. The night time worsening is common due to natural chemical variablity called circadian rhythm. See your pcp or board certiified allergist.

Possible hives: Without seeing the rash, it sounds like you are having a hive reaction while showering.  This could be a form of physical urticaria, where a physical trigger like heat or cold causes the hives to appear.  The most common is dermatographism, where pressure on the skin results in hives.  These are usually linear in appearance and transient.  Contact with water (aquagenic urticaria) is a rare trigger.

Exercise itch: My best guess is that it is suggest the sweat, which may or may not be obvious. It doesn't have to drip off you to cause an itch. If your in good shape (exercising regularly) you produce less sweat than when you are out-of-shape or deconditioned; in this case your body is more stressed by lower amounts of exercise. I assume the sweat is after you stop. If so, then just shower immediately.
