Could be: Could be musculoskeletal, muscle spasms, lung problems or many other problems.  However, any chest pain (even if it doesn't occur during exercise) could be related to the heart, and should be checked out by a doctor asap.

I don't know: Check with your dr, as a 54 yo getting "chest cramps" needs to be evaluated asap to ensure it is not cardiac related.  Any severe chest pains, pressure, with l arm tingling or jaw pain, with shortness of breath, or naseau/vomitting, needs to be seen emergently to rule out a "heart attack."  best wishes.

Pleuritic chest pain: Is painful chest with breathing and may be from a variety of causes from less serious such as muscle related (e.g. costochondritis) to more serious such as pneumonia (infection), pericarditis (heart inflammation) or pulmonary embolism(clot).  So needs doctor assessment and urgently if breathing difficulties as may need tests run to sort it out.

Panic attacks!!!: You could be dealing with panic attacks. You need to get a proper psychiatric evaluation to determine your symptoms and what are triggering them. Medication like antidepressant and benzodiazepines will help with this, but you need to identify the cause of the anxiety/panic attacks and will need to get cognitive behavioral therapy to help resolve the underlying issue.

Many things: The list of possible causes is very long.  Indigestion, viral or bacterial stomach/bowel infection, food poisoning, inflammatory bowel issues, dietary change, and many others.  Best to see your medical provider for evaluation, esp if symptoms worsen, you develop fever/worsening pain, vomiting.

when i take my rescue  inhaler it makes my palpitations worse and i get fluttering. i take a beta blocker daily. now my hr is so high 197 , chest hurt?

Yes: Many things can cause chest wall pain. An osteopathic physician (do) can assess your pain and, if the cause is a rib or spinal problem, fix it.  As do's are full-fledged physicians and trained in manual treatment, like chiropractors, they may be better equipped than either chiro's or md's, alone, to assess such pain, find whether the cause is an organ, muscle or bone and decide how best to proceed.
