Baby aspirin rarely: Baby Aspirin  may predispose, but are almost never a direct reason for a nose bleed.Typically nose bleeds are caused by conditions localized in the nasal passages. If the nose bleed is recurrent, or persistent despite the usual measures to control it, i.e. Local pressure and cold compress, ENT evaluation is warranted.

QOD: Another approach would trying 81mg every other day....However your recurrent nose bleeds may be treatable with cautery...Discuss with your physician.

Yes: Aspirin can negatively affect the body's ability to clot the blood. Thus it is easier to have bleeding problems, such as nosebleeds. Discuss this with your doctor.

65 yr old male. had mi restenosis on monday with lad stent. ef 55% and small apical thrombus. taking tricagulor twice daily, aspirin once, apixaban 5mg twice. nose bleed happening with little clot 2 times a day? it stops.worried. what should i do?

: Notify the prescribing doctor.  Most likely this involves a localized nasal lesion, and not necessarily a risk of bleeding elsewhere, but in your case, it pays to be extra cautious.

lately i have noticed during lite blowing of the nose i get a low flow nose bleed.  my nose cavity sprayed with a saline and on occasion i use a jell for the cavity, 1 aspirin 10mg ferosimde  20mg losinpril day is all this causing nose bleeds?

Abnormal platelets: Aspirin effects the ability of platelets to function as the "glue to an initial event, trauma to nose. Discontinuing the Aspirin may help.

: Aspirin raises the risk of various kinds of bleeding, but uncommon with daily low doses. When it occurs, gastrointestinal bleeding is the more common risk, not brain. In many people, the benefit of daily aspirin (primarily in preventing heart attack and stroke) outweighs the risk of bleeding, but this is controversial and recommendations have been changing. Platelet function: Aspirin and other non steroidal anti-inflammatory agents can alter the stickiness of the platelets that help you form the first stage of a clot. If they don't stick together it's harder to prevent bleeds from sensitive ares like the nose.

i'm on eliquis, plavix, and baby aspirin daily. have bruises all over my legs (some quite large) but no where else. not sure where they came from. how concerned should i be about bleeding on all three meds?

Bleeding risk: Individually these meds increase risk for bleeding, this risk increases when used in combination. That said, they are usually prescribed in combination for good reason when BENEFIT outweighs the risk of bleeding.  It is to discuss this concern with the prescriber of these medications, and make sure  you understand the reason for being on all meds. Would not change anything until talking to them.
