Half as much...: 7 hours of sleep is about half as much in a day as one would expect for a 6 month old.  I would look into the environment (? overstimulation) and help encourage some more rest time.

Decreased cognition: In pediatrics, we follow infants-toddlers for delayed milestones and one of those is the cognition being within normal limits. If not walking and talking at the appropriate time, i.e. 18 months, this is delayed and 
hearing and other evaluations may be done. If adults acquire cognition delays, i.e. memory, brain function,
dementia or other issue should be ruled out.

Likely blood flow.: Daily physical activity helps the blood flow better.  This means blood flows to the brain better, and makes it work better, unless there are complications, like brain diseases.  It also relieves tension, and helps sleep since it makes a person tired after activity.  This, and a balanced diet, and enough sleep can make a person feel invigorated and very alert.

: A person performs best when they have adequate restorative sleep, balanced nutrition, are in a safe environment and free from physical or mental disorders. There is no pill or supplement that reverses the cognitive or all behavioral symptoms of schizophrenia. There is emerging evidence that any self medication with marijuana will aggravate or bring on the worst symptoms in many.

in 80 yr old seniors  when taking the cognitive decline test from mental health services (for signs of dementia), if the patient already has dyslexia would this interfere with the result in causing a false test result in the diagnosing of dementia ?

: Dyslexia might make it difficult for a cognitively impaired senior to accurately complete the testing, but these are screening studies and not as comprehensive or as accurate as a full scale neuropsychological test battery.  Nonetheless, such tests do provide a pathway to further evaluations.  MRI imaging can be very objectifying, and an EEG would likewise help.  A neurologist may be very useful.

are my reduced cognitive & memory function & personality/behavioral changes a result of the brain surgery i had due to cerebral trauma?

: Any kind of "cortical involution" (i.e., decrease in normal mass) can affect cerebral function.  See a neurologist for guidance.

would taking clonazepam on a daily basis for a period of 9 months at an avg of .25mg result in any permanent cognitive deficits or brain damage? or should i return to baseline and be the same as i was before following withdrawal/cessation?

??: really no way to predict , but all else being equal, no reason to expect anything different. Except hopefully you have been doing some counseling,,and possibly plan to continue to do some counseling which will potentially make all the difference in terms of your reactions and ideas.
