Most common cause: The most common cause is dehydration. I know there’s a fine line of drinking too much water and having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and just enough water to take care of your cramps

Massage: Them, stretch the arch by pulling up on the toes or pressing the toes on the ground as if you are propulsing. You can roll a ball under your arch as well. If it happens while walking wear an arch support.

Arch pain: There may be a number of reasons to why you are getting pain in your feet.  One of the most likely is that you are not getting enough arch support!  this occurs when the shoegear (or lack there of) does not stabilize/support your foot joints.  This allows you to overpronate and decrease your arch.  You can help prevent and improve this pain with good tennis shoes and a podiatry referral.

i have plantar fasciitis and my feet continue to twitch and cramp in the arch , what can i do to stop them? it's 24/7, i've had new orthotics fitted.

Injection or surgery: Plantar fasciitis can resolve at some point on its own, but if it does not the options are primarily threefold: noninvasive things such as orthotics, stretches, therapy, ultrasound, etc.; or injection therapy usually with steroid or a variety of growth factors available; or surgery.  There is really not too much else out there for it.

whenever i run or play soccer after awhile my feet get very sore in my arch area, it feels like the muscles are very tight almost like they cramping after i take my shoes off the pain starts to go away and after that i have no lasting pain. i'm 25?

: I will try a pair of cleats with arch support and 0.5 bigger size. If the symptoms persist, you can see a podiatrist for advice.

i have chronic calf & foot cramps when i relax my feet, and can feel/see muscles moving by themselves. this is worse at night. any insight?

Cramps: Cramps in the calves and feet can be caused by a variety of issues.  Most commonly are dehydration and imbalanced electrolytes.  There are easy treatments that typically eliminate the cramping.  Getting an exam in person or virtually will give you the best diagnosis and treatment plan that you may need!
