See your doctor: Simply swelling alone is unlikely to be from an allergic reaction even though you suffer from many allergic diseases. If antihistamine does not relieve it, see an allergist.

Sinus congestion: You may have a sinus congestion or sinus infection. In addition you may have a post nasal drip causing your cough and fluid in your ear. Try using salt water nose drops or a nasal decongestant like claritin.

Yes.: Once the swelling goes down, the pain should improve. Swelling in the nose often causes clogged sensation in the ears as well. Using medication to make the nose better, like an antihistamine, decongestant, or a few days of afrin (oxymetazoline) may make both better.

: Would suggest a visit to your usual dentist and have evaluation for Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction, but also assess your dental health.  Find it confusing that at age 23 temporal arteritis was considered, as this is a disorder of much older folks.
