my body itches from head to toe what could be causing this?

Body itching ?'s: "Total body itching" may be due to delayed hypersensitivity to a long time use of laundry detergent ( specifically "Tide", for example).  Use Ivory Snow for undergarments, bedclothes, etc) as it contains no detergents.  Body itching can also of course come from specific food or medication allergies, so get a referral to a dematologist.

See a dermatologist: This is not caused by shampoo a month ago. When you go, bring all soaps, shampoos. Vitamins, supplements, meds. Laundry detergent is not relavent.

i dyed my hair and now my head itches and it has sores and when i itch my head it starts to leak and i have a rash all over my body?

Contact dermatitis: Hair dye can cause an allergic reaction and as far as rash over body, dye can leak initially as excess dye washes off.  Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) over the counter.

my entire body itches except vagina and i am breaking out a lot on my face  during this period is it because of antibiotics i took for a cold recently?

Allergic reaction: I would advise ER or UC evaluation for an allergic reaction-this may be from the antibiotics or other metabolic issues. Certainly go to the ER if you have sweliing of your fave/lips or difficulty swallowing or eating.

How long have this :  there could be many reasons for itching. Your physician should be able to help guide you in the evaluation. It can be from medicines,  it can be from foods, it can be from internal illnesses that you have. It can be to exposures that you had beyond those reasons. You need to see an allergist.

See below: Symptoms and concerns like these mandate a thorough evaluation by your doctor.  Only after such an evaluation, which may include labs and radiographic examinations, can he/she let you know what's going on and how best to help you.

i have an itchy scalp and two small bumps at the bottom of my head on either side. could this be allergy related since it is fall? i have been sweating a lot as well due to increase in exercise. skin on body itches as well.

Sounds more: like an infected scalp and the "lumps" may be enlarged lymph glands which drain the scalp!
A "hands on" exam is indicated and an anti-dandruff
shampoo with a course of oral antibiotics may be indicated!

Rash: Possible allergy, although, without seeing a pic and getting more detailed story - it's no more than pure guess. Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25 mg at night and see if it helps. Avoid drying brands of soap (usually bar soap) and hot water (making itching worse). If no better after the Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or other symptoms are present or the rash getting worse, see doc.

sudden burning/itching tingling feeling on body moves around. head itches, red blotchy skin and just tingling everywhere more at night. other symptoms i have sometimes at diff times are: edema, hair loss, joint pain . all auto immune labs normal?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Take multivitamins, just in case.
